Greetings from the Graduate
Student Advisory Council (GSAC)

Fall semester is almost upon us. We hope to meet all the new students at Graduate Student Orientation next week. If you are a returning student, you are welcome to attend as well. Come say ‘Hi’ and meet some of our faculty and have a snack. We are excited to announce that GSAC will be starting a blog with resources for iSchool students. If you are interested in writing a blog post please see the information below. Keep an eye out for an email about our first online meeting of the semester. Everyone is invited to participate in this meeting.

Call for Contributions

As Fall Semester starts, GSAC is launching a website and blog where we will share resources, news, events, and posts from iSchool students, alumni, and faculty. If you are interested in contributing blog posts about professional experiences, current research, scholarships, or opportunities you would like to share with fellow iSchool students, please contact Mallory McCorkhill at mmccork1@kent.edu. GSAC will be holding an open meeting for iSchool students at the beginning of the Fall Semester. Keep an eye on your email for details!
