The iSchool GSAC’s
December 2019 Newsletter

Volume 6, Issue 4

Greetings from the Graduate
Student Advisory Council (GSAC)

The end of the semester is in sight! I hope you all have a strong finish to the semester and enjoy the holidays and break. I have enjoyed having the honor of serving as your GSAC president this year. I am proud of what we have accomplished this year and what we are building for the future. I will be graduating this semester and will no longer be president. We will be holding elections for all officers at our next meeting (12/9/19 6:00pm). I know the incoming GSAC exec board will continue serving the iSchool students with excellence. Happy Holidays and Congratulations to all the Fall 2019 Graduates! To quote Elle Woods, “We did it!”
Haley Shaw
President, Graduate Student Advisory Council

Season’s Greetings, Kent State iSchool! I join Haley in congratulating our fellow grads. Like her, I will be graduating this semester, passing the torch to another VP of Communications during the upcoming meeting. I am excited for the plans that GSAC is continuing to build upon. To those who are still in the program, I wish you all continued success in completing your studies. To my colleagues in GSAC, I am very proud of the work you are doing and will be cheering you on as an alumna!
Mallory McCorkhill
Vice President of Communications, Graduate Student Advisory Council
