The iSchool GSAC’s
July 2020 Newsletter

Volume 8, Issue 2

Greetings from the Graduate Student Advisory Council (GSAC)

Happy July, iSchool students! We hope that you are enjoying your summer as much as possible. GSAC has been working throughout the summer to create fun and useful programming and resources for the upcoming school year. We will be reviewing some of these plans at our next meeting on July 13th, so please join us if you would like to join the discussion!

The officers at GSAC would also like to express our commitment to create an environment where all iSchool students feel welcome, represented, and valued. One of the main purposes of our organization is to provide a space where students’ concerns, questions, and ideas can be heard. We will work to develop and support programming that improves cultural awareness and provides space for reflection and dialogue. Please know that even though we are currently between semesters, GSAC is here to support you. If you have any questions or concerns throughout the summer, please do not hesitate to reach out to VP of Communications Brenna Hubschman at bhubschm@kent.edu.
