The iSchool GSAC’s
September 2020 Newsletter

Volume 9, Issue 1

Greetings from the Graduate Student Advisory Council (GSAC)

Happy September, iSchool students, and welcome to Fall semester! Hopefully the first few days of classes have been going well for everyone. It was great seeing new and familiar faces at August’s Meet and Greet event. We will be hosting another casual social on September 30th at 8pm ET. All current iSchool students are invited. Please email Lauren Zollinger at lzolling@kent.edu for the Zoom link.

We also invite you to join our general meeting on September 19th at 12pm ET. (Email Brenna Hubschman at bhubschm@kent.edu for the Zoom link). We will be holding elections and still have several positions that need to be filled. Please consider nominating yourself! It’s a fun way to develop connections and experience. We’ve extended the deadline until September 15.

If you haven’t already, be sure to join our Facebook Group and follow our website to stay connected with fellow students and keep up with GSAC news and events. If you have any questions or concerns as an iSchool student, please do not hesitate to reach out to Brenna Hubschman at bhubschm@kent.edu. We look forward to connecting with you and wish everyone luck with their studies this semester!
